How to Track Changes Made During a Patient Visit (Updated Process)

To track changes made during a patient visit in the system, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Clinical Trial and Select the Patient

    • Go to the specific Clinical Trial and select the patient whose visit you want to review.
  2. Navigate to the Visits Section

    • In the patient's profile, go to the "Visits" tab.
    • Select the specific visit you want to analyze by clicking on it.
  3. View the Version History of the Visit

    • On the visit screen, locate the "Version history" option. This new feature allows you to view the full edit history for all fields within the visit in a single modal.
  4. Access All Field Changes in One View

    • Click on the Version Historybutton (as shown in the attached screenshot). A modal will appear displaying:
      • Field Value: The specific field that was changed.
      • Change Reason: The reason provided for the change (if applicable).
      • Author: The user who made the change, along with their identification number (e.g., GMC Register ID).
      • Date: The timestamp of when the change was made.
  5. Filter the Changes for Easy Navigation

    • Use the filtering feature within the "Version History" modal to display only the fields that have been changed during the visit. This enhancement helps streamline the process by isolating modifications from unchanged fields.
  6. Detailed View of Edits

    • For each field, you can see:
      • The original value before the change.
      • The new value entered.
      • The date and time of the change.
      • The user who made the modification.
  7. View the Edit History for a Specific Field (Optional)

    • If you prefer to check the history for a single field, locate the field in the visit form. Click on the three dots next to it and select "Edit History" to see detailed changes for that specific field.
