Adding Remarks to Finance Events

Prerequisites:

  • User must possess appropriate privileges to add remarks on finance events



1. To add a remarks to a finance event, navigate to the Finance tab in the system interface.



2. Locate and expand the finance event of interest. Access the contextual menu by selecting the three-dot icon (⋮). Choose the "Edit remarks" option from the dropdown menu -



3. When editing remarks for a finance event, a modal dialog will appear containing the following input fields:

  • Category - Classification designation for the remark
  • Comment - Free-text field for detailed information



4. Enter appropriate information in both the Category and Comment fields.

5. Click the Save button to commit the changes to the system



6. For finance events associated with screen failure patients, the remarks modal contains an additional specialized field.

  • SF Category - A specific classification field for documenting the screen failure category



Note:

Ensure all fields are completed with accurate information before saving to maintain data integrity.


Note:

All information entered in these fields can be utilized in financial reporting capabilities. The system allows for generation of various financial reports, including:

  • Total trial incomes
  • Site incomes


Data accuracy within these fields directly impacts the integrity of financial analysis and forecasting throughout the trial lifecycle.
