How to reorder procedures for a visit in a protocol?

This guide will demonstrate how to reorder procedures for a specific visit within a protocol, allowing a customized order for the visit separate from the protocol’s base sequence.

Step 1: Navigate to the Protocol Editor

1. Access the protocol for which you wish to reorder procedures.
2. Locate the Visit section within the protocol editor.
   

Step 2: Access the Reorder Option

1. Identify the visit where you want to reorder procedures.
2. Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the visit name.
3. Select Reorder Procedures from the dropdown menu.
   

Step 3: Reorder the Procedures

1. In the Reorder Procedurespanel on the right:
   • The list of procedures assigned to the selected visit will be displayed.
   • Drag and drop procedures to the desired order, or use the checkboxes to select procedures for reordering.
2. Once the desired order is set, click Apply to save changes.
3. Optionally, click Reset to Default to revert to the protocol’s base procedure order for the visit.
   
   

Step 4: Confirm Custom Order

1. After applying the changes, a confirmation message or visual indicator (e.g., a tooltip stating "Custom procedures order applied") will appear next to the visit.
2. This indicates that the visit now follows a unique order different from the protocol’s default.
   
   

Step 5: Save Changes

1. Click Save Draft to ensure the new order is preserved.
2. To finalize changes, validate and publish the protocol if necessary.
