Managing administrative fee - adding cost to clinical trial budget

The system allows you to enter administrative fees into the price list: one-time or recurring.




In order to be able to manage (add types, amounts and frequency to the price list) administration fees, the user should have the following permissions: Test list (site) - access; Study Protocol-Management, Budget: Administrative Fees-Management; Budget: visits and procedures-management.




To be able to record administration fees, the user should have: List of studies (site) - access; Study Protocol - Management Budget Administrative Fees - View All; Administrative fees management




Adding administration fees to the clinical trial price list



1. Go to the tab with the list of clinical trials.




2. Select the study you are interested in from the list.



3. Select: Budget to add types of administrative fees to the price list and indicate their recurrence.





4. Click on the three dots in the existing price list or select New budget version





5. Select: Administrative fees to enter this cost category into the price list





6. To define administrative fees, select: Edit available fees



7. Select: Add new fee






8. Select a fee category from the drop-down list, then indicate its frequency.



In the case of a single payment, indicate the date in which the payment should be registered, or select no date.


In the case of a periodic fee, indicate how often a given fee should be charged, then select from when to count the periodicity.



9. After saving the new fee, go back to your budget by selecting the arrow





10. The fee has been added to the test price list, enter the appropriate amounts. At this stage, you can also add "Remaining Cost" or "Staff Cost" - to fully indicate the components of the fee.
