How to Access and Process a Visit in the System

Accessing the Visit:

  1. Locate Your Visits:

    • On the main dashboard, find the "Your visits" tab. This section contains a summary of the patients scheduled for appointments.
  2. Access the Visit:

    • If you are assigned to the study and the patient is scheduled for a visit, you can access the visit.
    • Hover your mouse cursor over the patient’s record and click "EMR".
  3. Start the Visit:

    • Inside the EMR, click "Start visit" to begin processing the visit.

Processing the Visit:

  1. Available Procedures:

    • The system will allow you to process only the procedures assigned to your role.
    • If you attempt to access a procedure that is not assigned to you, a message will notify you that you do not have access.
  2. Visit Details:

    • Visit Card:
      • This area is customized by your facility and contains forms created and assigned by authorized personnel.
      • If you believe a form needs adjustment or is incomplete, please contact your coordinator.

  3. Required Fields and Visit Status:

    • Complete all required fields during the visit.
    • On the right-hand side, a status tracker displays the progress of the visit. This helps ensure all sections are properly completed.

Completing or Saving the Visit:

  • Save Progress:

    • If you plan to return later to complete the visit, click "Save visit" to save your progress.
  • Finalize the Visit:

    • Once all required procedures and fields are completed, click "Complete visit" to mark the visit as finished.

Additional Notes:

  • Ensure you process only the procedures for which you have access.
  • Use the sidebar for quick access to Adverse Events (AE), Concomitant Medications, and Medical History.
  • If any issues arise or access to certain procedures is restricted, contact your study coordinator for further assistance.
